Sponsorship

The Club is seeking to enter into various sponsorship arrangements during 2009 to assist the Club in achieving the objectives of its 2008 Development Plan, as follows:

a)Principal Club Sponsor

b)Colts’ Team Sponsor

c)Annual Sponsors

Principal Club Sponsor

It is anticipated that the Principal Club Sponsor will provide modest annual financial assistance to support the Club over more than one year as the Club seeks to implement its 2008 Development Plan. All such financial support will be allocated to identified Development Plan objectives as agreed with the Sponsor. The Sponsorship package will include prominent and effective exposure of the Sponsor’s business on the Club’s website and elsewhere and regular local media coverage for the Sponsor reflecting the Sponsor’s key role in enabling the Club to implement its Development Plan.

Colts’ Team Sponsor

The Club commenced a weekly Kwik Cricket activity during the summer of 2008 for boys and girls of 8 years old and upwards, using qualified coaches achieving weekly attendance levels up to 25. The Club now plans to build on this success during 2009 and onwards by entering a team for local competitions, organising its own annual competition event and using this as a basis to develop one or more Club Colts’ teams in the future. The Colts’ Team Sponsor will be requested to make an annual financial contribution dedicated to the Club’s Kwik Cricket programme to assist the Club to achieve its colts’ teams’ objectives. The Sponsor will have the opportunity of obtaining local media coverage, reflecting its key role in helping the Club provide cricket coaching to pupils of local primary schools and other young people.

Annual Sponsors

The Club has been very grateful for the contribution of its Annual Sponsors in the past, some of whom have been Sponsors for many years. Annual Sponsors make a modest fixed sum financial contribution to the Club’s general funds, although in future they will be able to request that this be dedicated to a particular aspect of the Club’s activities. In the past, the Annual Sponsor package has been limited to an advertisement in the Club’s Annual Fixture List. In future the Annual Sponsorship Package will include advertisements in the Club’s Annual Fixture List and the Club’s Website and any other form of exposure that the Sponsor reasonably requests.
