Dear All,
Well that's another season well and truly over and that means putting the pitch to bed and tidying up the ground .
The dry, hot summer was welcome to most but it did take its toll on the wicket so we are looking at applying a decent loam covering and a lot of grass seed !
Graham Francis has managed to borrow a loam spreader for the day ,so this should make the heavy lifting a bit easier than last time .
Also we will need to put the sight screens away ,apply the protective fencing around the wicket and tidy up the garage .
Attendance to the last couple of such gatherings has been really good and myself and particularly Graham really appreciate that .
Hopefully we will see a good number of faces on the day .Even if you can only spare an hour or so ,that's probably one job less for everybody else .
